Pygmalion – Play
This is the last weekend of the Bernard Shaw’s most popular play, Pygmalion, at the Smock Alley Theatre.
This gloriously witty and enchanting story is the inspiration for the Oscar winning film ‘My Fair Lady’. The arrogant Professor Higgins attempts to transform the unrefined flower seller Eliza Doolittle and turn her into a Duchess. For a bet! Will she pass the test? Does she want to pass the test? If so – what happens next?
This classic piece of world literature is a sharp satire about class, money and the right to independence.
This is supposed to be a good play and Smock Alley is offering some interesting deals involving Dinner and Brunch before the play. Check it out!
Friday (02.09) and Saturday (03.09) – 2:30 pm / 7:30 pm
Tickets: €18/15 concession
