The money raised with the event will be support Dina who is going on a two week Google International Volunteer Expedition to Nicaragua with 13 more Googlers this October. “Her awesome project aims to help solve the problem of lack of support for youth entrepreneurial skills in rural communities of northern Nicaragua”. Dina might have some surprises for you at the party as well!

In the first event of its kind in Ireland, a 260ft waterslide will be constructed in Dublin City Centre on Winetavern Street (near Christchurch Cathedral). The inflatable slide will run from the arch of the Cathedral down the hill and will provide you with a unique experience. Put your swimsuit on and enjoy! I will not miss that!

Swords Summer Festival is back this year with a fantastic line-up of events, bands, and great family fun.
This year’s festivities will kick off with a fundraiser performance for the Swords Lions Club with the Three Tenors live in concert. Let’s Make A Scene – Acting “Open Mic”
If you are an actor, comedian, director or writer looking for inspiration and other artists to work with or you are just into arts and would like to watch these types of artists perform in an acting “Open Mic”, you will find Let’s Make a Scene an interesting event.
Let’s Make a Scene is similar to an “Open Mic” event for musicians and spoken word artists, just for actors, comedians and improvisers.
It is a live platform to actors, comedians, improvisers, slammers, etc… for free to present, test, showcase or display their work to an audience (scene, monologue, sketch, reading, new material or in production, etc…) and create a momentum prompting exchange & collaboration in between artists of different media sharing a passion.
The event is a monthly open platform and on Thursday you will discover the work of Barry McBrien, Cherley Kane, Graham Molloy, Jenny-Lee Masterson, Paula McGlinchey, Rory O’ Flynn, Rosemary O’Loughlin, Sophie Campbell, Thomas Matthew Byrne and Wayne Davis, who are presenting their work or favourite monologues, scenes, improv’, reading, in preview or in production.
